特徵描述

生活型

形態特徵

  • A small evergreen tree.
  • Leaves chartaceous, lanceolate, 12–16 cm long, 4–5 cm broad, acuminate, cuneate, entire, dark green above, pale beneath, glabrous on both surfaces, the costa distinct above, raised beneath, the lateral veins 6 or 7 per side, conspicuous above, raised beneath; petioles 1–1.5 cm long.
  • Inflorescences in terminal panicles, as long as the leaves, the flowers minute, about 1 mm across, numerous, with 2 bracteoles at base; sepals 4, imbricate; petals 3 or 4, rounded, glabrous; staminodes 2 or 3; stamens 2.
  • Fruit black, globose, about 3 mm across.

分布

  • 台灣 : In forests at high altitudes in the central part of the island.
